This is a ground floor assessment facility.
Market Place is one way and can be accessed from The Forbury near the railway station. Only Blue Badge holders are able to drop-off at the Assessment Centre. The nearest car park is at Reading station.

The 500 park and ride service stop on King’s Street (stop MK) is close to the Assessment Centre. Stop MA on Market Street is also served by a number of bus routes.
Reading station is approximately 0.2 miles from the Assessment Centre. Head south down Blagrave Street and across Town Hall Square to reach Market Place.

Due to severe weather conditions, we have made the decision to temporarily close six assessment centres until Monday 17th August. All other assessment centres remain open and appointments are continuing as planned.
The affected assessment centres are Aylesbury, Fareham, Salisbury, Southampton, Gloucester, and Frimley. All customers with appointments on 11th, 12th, 13th or 14th August have been contacted.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and will contact customers if there are any changes to their appointment.
