Please note that this is a first floor Assessment Centre.
You can access the Assessment Centre through the main entrance to the Jobcentre.
There is an assessment room available on the ground floor. If you think you would have difficulty going down the stairs unaided in the event of an emergency, please contact us at least two days before your assessment to ensure you are able to access the ground floor room or to make alternative arrangements.
The Assessment Centre is on Spa Road, which can be accessed off Southgate Street (A4301) that runs through Gloucester. Exit the M5 at Junction 11 and follow the signs for Gloucester and the Docks.
There are limited disabled parking spaces at the Assessment Centre. Metered street parking is available in the adjacent streets for up to 2 hours. A longer-stay car park is available at the Docks Car Park approximately 0.3 miles from the Assessment Centre.

Bus route 10 stops on the junction of Spa Road and Southgate Street. It runs from Clarence Street which is close to Gloucester rail station.
Great Western Railway, Cross Country and Transport for Wales services run through Gloucester. The station is about 1 mile away from the Assessment Centre.

Due to severe weather conditions, face-to-face assessment appointments scheduled for Wednesday 24 June, Thursday 25 June, and Friday 26 June will be changed to telephone appointments where appropriate, or rescheduled.
If your appointment is affected, we will contact you directly. Please do not attend your assessment centre unless you have been advised to do so.
