A lift is available, but in the event of an emergency evacuation of the building, the lift cannot be used and there are steps to the ground floor.
If you think you would have difficulty going down the stairs unaided in the event of an emergency, please contact us at least two days before your assessment to make alternative arrangements.
The Assessment Centre is in the pedestrian area of Union Street.
From the A380, take the A3022 towards the town centre. Follow the signs for the Union Shopping Centre car park where parking is available. The Assessment Centre runs alongside the shopping centre on Union Street.

Several buses stop on Union Street, Abbey Road and Market Street in the town centre, near the Assessment Centre.
Torquay rail station is approximately 1 mile from the Assessment Centre. The 61 bus route runs from the station to Union Street.
